How we write and check our content

This page explains who writes the guides, blog posts and comparison pages on crawlcove.com, how we check what they say, and how to tell us if something is wrong.

Who writes it

A named piece carries the byline of the person who wrote and checked it, and that byline links to a page saying who they actually are. Where a piece is a joint effort it keeps the house byline rather than borrowing a name.

Every person named on this site is a real person, and everything an author page claims about them is true and checkable. We do not invent authors, we do not use stock or borrowed photographs for them, and we do not credit a reviewer who was not involved.

How we check it

Where a post shows a screenshot, it comes from a real Crawl Cove audit, either of crawlcove.com itself or of a demo site built for that purpose. Where a comparison page states a competitor's price or a plan limit, we check it against that vendor's own pricing page and note the date we checked it. We do not invent testimonials, customer counts or statistics.

Sources we cite

For technical SEO topics, we link to primary documentation: Google Search Central, web.dev, and the relevant W3C or IETF specification. Where a claim needs a source we do not have, we either find one or drop the claim.

How we use AI

AI tools help us draft and research this content. Facts in it, competitor prices, product behaviour, and technical claims, are checked against a real source before publishing rather than generated freely, and the standards on this page apply regardless of how a piece was drafted.

When we update articles

The date shown on an article is the date its content last changed. We do not bump a date to look fresh without a genuine edit behind it.

Where we have a commercial interest

We make Crawl Cove. Our comparison and alternative pages say so near the top, and we try to note honestly where a competitor is the better or cheaper choice.

Spotted an error? Email us at support@crawlcove.com. We will check it and correct the page, and we will note the change where it was a material one.
